Privacy notice
Last updated 30 October 2026
This notice explains what Iridium Options Exchange collects through this website, the waitlist and the public-test trading app, and why.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, the referral code you were invited with, the page you signed up from, the time, and a referral code we generate for you.
- Sign-in: when you sign in with Google, the identifier Google gives us for your account and the email address attached to it, plus the username you choose. We never see your Google password.
- Trading records: every order, fill, position, mock balance, margin figure and settlement on your account, kept in full because an exchange has to be able to replay its history.
- Sessions: a session identifier stored in an essential cookie so you stay signed in (see the cookie notice).
- Network information: our edge provider passes us your approximate location (country and region) so we can apply the eligibility rules in the terms. We do not store your IP address with your account; short-lived technical logs keep it for security and reliability.
- Email you send us: what you write and the address you write from.
The site sets no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics run on it today. If that changes, this notice and the cookie notice will say so first.
Why
- To run the waitlist, the sign-in and the trading app, and to show you your own account.
- To apply eligibility and sanctions rules, keep the service secure and investigate abuse.
- To publish the leaderboard, if you opt in; it shows your username and performance only.
- To improve the product, using aggregate statistics rather than individual records where we can.
- To answer you when you write to us.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers that host and protect our systems (our cloud host, our edge network and our email provider) under contract, and with authorities where the law requires. Market data shown to you comes from Hyperliquid; nothing about you is sent to Hyperliquid.
Retention
Waitlist data is kept until you ask us to delete it or the waitlist ends. Account and trading records are kept for as long as the account exists and for as long afterwards as our record-keeping obligations require; the engine's log is append-only. Technical logs are kept for a short period.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, at [email protected]. Deleting an account removes your sign-in and username; the trading records stay in the engine's log under the account's number only. If you are in a jurisdiction with a data-protection authority, you can also complain to it.
Changes
We will post any change here with a new date.
